i haven't seen anything on television aside from an episode of made and a few shows on animal planet since winter break... i turned on the tv today and the first thing i saw was a show where a girl's parents pick two other guys for her to date while she's already in a relationship. the girl then goes on to choose between the two guys in the blind dates, and her boyfriend! this particular girl today got matching tattoos with a guy of the words 'sweet' and 'dude' on the inside of their lips... and honest to god went on to dump her boyfriend of 8 months for him on national tv and in front of her parents... trashy.

I'm no Martin Luther King Jr. or anything, but the other night I had a dream.

There was this enormously fat, handicapped cat in my dream, and it could talk to me. And the cat was just a huge fucking asshole to me and it kept ordering me around. And since it couldn't walk cuz it was fucking handicapped, I had to carry it around all over the place... because it was the cat's birthday. And for some reason, I had to introduce the cat to all of its guests, which is sort of counter-intuitive considering that it was his fucking birthday... asshole cat. I hated that bitch.

End of dream.

So I'm sitting at lunch today, and I'm rubbing my eye, and all of a sudden the side of the bridge of my nose right next to my eye starts gushing blood. After a couple of minutes, a lot of blood-filled napkins, and some crazy looks, Willemijn decides to take me to the health office. My eye bleeds all the way across campus for five minutes, then stops on the bridge outside of Ormsby. The health office is closed, so we grab some free condoms and stress balls, and come back later. The lady told me that sometimes, clusters of capillaries and little tiny blood vessels form in these concentrated spots, and that when i scratched it when i was rubbing my eye, i opened them up and all of them just started gushing blood, because that's what opened veins and capillaries do. It's funny, though, I'd totally been wondering what that crazy red birthmark-looking thing was next to my eye, cuz it just sort of appeared over time over the past few months... and now I know. That's pretty much an accurate screen cap of what I looked like every day in sociology. I hated that class... atleast Walseth was hot. Shit. Like I just said that.

So I was walking down the street the other day when something amazing arrived in the mail. It was my housing information, and I was almost as excited to get it as I was when Rose sent me one of her dreadlocks in the mail. Turns out my roommate is from the Netherlands, and her name is Willemijn Jozefin Pheifer. I've never been to the Netherlands. Kristin is excited to meet her.

My fambly (typo intended) is watching Invasion of the Body Snatchers again. We watched it last night, but we missed the ending because the Pecks came to our door. I bought a raffle ticket from Sam. If I don't win I'm going to take my little booklet and bury it in a desert. That'll show 'em.

So! I should get back to getting ready for the road trip and such. I'll be gone from tomorrow (Monday) until next Sunday... grrrrrrrrr. I really don't want to go to our lame annual I don't know any of these people Family Reunion next weekend, but I'm forced against my will. I like car rides, however, cuz I just get plugged in and listen to music and stare at the ceiling which is fine, but actually having to communicate with perfect strangers (a.k.a. my family) totally sucks.
